At Oana we’ve always been conscious living and practiced mindfulness so we thought its about time to share our home with like-minded souls.
We’d like to invite you on a spiritual journey in our little slice of desert paradise.
What to expect
Wildlife conservation, Grass Roots Yoga, Hiking, Camping
This is not your average retreat. We’ve merged wildlife conservation volunteering, adventure & wellness. Activities include leopard research, nocturnal biodiversity surveys, large mammal game counts, hiking, mountain biking and many more! We’re situated in a spectacular desert tented camp with all the home comforts to make your stay extra special. Oana is not a luxury safari tented camp but a bedouin style camp with running hot showers, flush loos, stretchers and bedrolls in your rooms. Bedrooms are canvas safari tents, 2 per tent, but you can have your own if you wish. All meals are included, home made, fresh bread prepared on the fire by our wonderful experienced vegetarian chef; Mighty. Yoga will be practiced in the wild, on the river, on mountain peaks and not in your usual Shala.
LOUP YOGA - Meditation, Vinyasa, Yin & Nidra
March 26 - April 3 (Max capacity 12)
Louise de Menthon will be leading our very first retreat. Louise is based in London & began practising yoga in 2015, and found it to be a transformative practice. Despite remaining passionate about humanitarian work, Louise felt compelled to complete a 200 hour Ashtanga Vinyasa Teacher Training course with All Yoga in Indonesia, and is now working full time to spread the powerful and transformative effects of Yoga.
